Why It’s Better
- Fair Trade Supports fairer work and responsible sourcing.
Give place settings structure with geometric woven placemats.
Description
Use these sisal and sweetgrass placemats at the table, then hang them on the wall when dinner is over. Rwandan artisans hand-dye and weave the natural fibers into geometric patterns, and each placemat includes its own hanging loop. Fair trade production supports the women artisans responsible for the work.

Sisal
Derived from the tough, defense-grade leaves of the agave succulent plant, this coarse botanical fiber features incredible abrasion resistance and high structural stiffness. It forms high-performance utility twine, scrubbing brushes, and dining placemats that deliver absolute zero-waste kitchen utility while rejecting microplastic shedding nylon.
